Construction & selection
Duplex service-drop cable configurations. The illustrated selection has one insulated aluminium phase conductor twisted with one bare AAC aluminium messenger, without a common sheath. Other messenger constructions must be selected separately.

Construction
Illustrated variant: XLPE insulated aluminium phases + bare AAC messenger
- Aluminium phase conductor
The aluminium conductor forms the current-carrying element of the insulated phase.
- XLPE phase insulation
XLPE provides individual electrical insulation around each aluminium phase conductor.
- Bare AAC aluminium messenger
The bare AAC aluminium messenger supports the twisted assembly alongside the insulated phase conductor.
- Twisted service-drop assembly
The selected assembly combines one insulated phase conductor with one bare AAC aluminium messenger.
The image shows one XLPE-insulated aluminium phase conductor and one bare AAC aluminium messenger. PE insulation, AAAC and ACSR alternatives are not illustrated.

- The table prints rated strength in kg. This unit is reproduced as labelled, without interpreting it as kgf or converting to force.
- Phase/neutral sizes are source designations; no mm² conversion or unprinted AWG unit has been added.
- Ampacities are catalogue reference values, not installation design ratings; confirm ambient conditions and installation basis before selection.
- Airedale strength is not given in the source.
- The source Vizsla aluminium-component weight conflicts with its total weight; the component value is withheld pending source confirmation.
- Values are transcribed from the supplied manufacturer catalogue, not independently certified test results. Final construction, applicable standard edition and project suitability require technical review.
Project-specific confirmation
Confirm the required conductor material, core arrangement, voltage designation, installation conditions, size and applicable standards with your enquiry. Reference tables on this page give data for the stated construction; confirm the selected current datasheet before ordering.
Illustrations are not engineering drawings or factory photographs. Final specifications and approved drawings will be confirmed with our official quotation. No certification or current manufacturer availability is implied by this family overview.
