Construction & selection
Multicore copper cable configurations listed for street-lighting applications. The illustration represents a five-core, equal-area PVC-insulated, PVC-sheathed option—not every lighting-circuit arrangement. Core count, earthing and installation requirements must be confirmed.

Construction
Illustrated variant: Five equal-area CU/PVC/PVC cores
- Five copper conductors
Five copper conductors of equal nominal area form the selected core arrangement.
- PVC insulation
PVC provides the electrical insulation around each conductor.
- Core assembly and fillers
The insulated cores are assembled together, with fillers occupying the spaces between them.
- PVC outer sheath
PVC forms the external protective covering around the cable assembly.
The image represents the five-core equal-area construction in the lower source table, not the mixed-area lighting arrangements.
